Stage 2
To be a successfully chosen candidate for stage 2, the candidate must fill out an application and to have 14-28 days of participation in Stage 1.
Stage 2
A 3 month supervised permeant living residence that provides the youth with an opportunity not to just succeed in a working manner but to be successful in personal growth and development.
They will be given the opportunity to take advantage of the programs' personal hygiene program that provides them the opportunity to receive full benefit care, including but not limited to eye care, dental care, any doctor examinations.
First candidates will be asked to set 3 personal goals; One that is achievable in the first 3 months of program participation (i.e. apply for a school course, or applying for driver licence). This will be done under the supervision of the house leader.
Stage 2 Credentials
2 hours of house maintenance per week (cleaning kitchen, bathroom, living areas, common areas as well as yard work and house perimeters).
Preparing meals for the entire residence, minimum one participation per week.
Being ready for work week daily Monday-Saturday
Candidates will be asked to do a minimum of 2 hours per week of group exercise. All credits earned will be paid out weekly.
ANYONE that is not meeting the minimal requirements for the program will be asked to leava the program!
Stage 3
Stage 3
Stage 3 is a full year non-supervised living stage. In this stage the candidates will be required to have more responsibilities in the program development. They will undertake a whole house renovation while they will learn the financial responsibility of having a business. They will be helping to do budgets for the renovation, pricing out materials, labour costs, and actually completing the house renovation. They will be learning how to prices out supplies and learning how to quote and price out material needed for the renovation. While in stage 3, the candidates will also learn personal finical responsibility by setting up a personal bank account and learning the fundamentals of applying for basic credit, along with how to use it appropriately. In stage 3 the candidate will be given the option to take an hourly wage in replace of their previous credits or they can use their credits to help build towards their future. In turn, the organization will match the candidates credit value and apply it towards their future goals (all goals must be approved by house leader prior to agreeing to this)
Stage 3 Creditenials
Candidates will need a minimum 40 work hours per week.
Candidates will need to up keep with group fitness, minimum 700 credits per month required.
Candidates will need a minimum of 2500 credits for residence maintenance per month.
Candidates need to keep making personal improvements with their own goals that they set.
